Senator Hiram Fong's Plantation and Botanical Gardens
So I went on a tour around another huge botanical garden 750acres, did a one hour walking tour with Jap/Hawaiian named June,
we squashed some lipstick plants togethere and extreacted the life giving seeds which emit a residue used in dyes, so we started smearing lipstick plant on each others faces playing dress up and messing around in gender roles.
alright did I just say that out loud.
Well we really did squash seeds from lipstick plants and the dye got all over my hands and later i had some Mulberries and my mother became cotton mouth joe and I badly needed water to quench the sand dune of ass breath that became my mouth after these strange goodies.
Actually learned an awful lot about plants and flowers and their uses, then we came on a big patch of musky skunky smelly weeds called Pokolo and we ground them up and she made me use a pipe to smoke them, well then....
i don't really remember any much more than that about the trip.
I think I housed a ton of food at my house though later that night.
:) kidding
so she really just showed me these skunky nasty smelling fruit called cannon ball from brazil, which weigh like 10 lbs a piece and smell like human remains left curing in the arizona sun while skunk mate atop the meat.
alright it's not that bad but it smells real strong.
she gave me a wierde fruit called a strawberry guava and it was pretty good, the pic shows me after the bite.
most of the others are types of Ginger Flower (there are over 700 types) or Palms (there are over 600 types)
Worked a good amount this week, some crazy long days treating like 9 pt's over 13 hours the other day, doesn't seem like much but each was at least an hour and most of it was massage, deep tissue hands on stuff, and two evaluations, so I was really beat up, I needed to stretch and workout for an hour afterwards, my hands are getting diesel from all the pulling and grabing and punching into people's fatty backs here.
I learned a new Myofascial release technique.... it is an advanced skin rolling technique or strumming technique, basically I was picking up skin with enormous force and pinch and rolling it, which I have done in the past, just now I pick it up like I'm trying to tear the skin off you like it was a mask, and get this, the fascia pops,at the vertebral spine you'll get some actually popping and audible release of locked down areas....some of the patients want to cry and kill me when i do it, but it really works well to clear up restrictions....
I have a long weekend because I have not scheduled any patients on St. Patrick's day.
go irish.....
