Dead Sunglasses and Spikey Fruit

Some Pics here showing what appears to be a rare sighting of the beast that is known as me....Like to take pics and reflections like this for some reason, You may notice it as a theme....or who cares.. :)

I also, finally settled in and got the job offer from the private practice....I have some doubts and am nervous about a few things.

1. Patient caseload is not that High and I get paid based on percentage of revenue.
2. Lots of workers comp and back and neck pain patients, not so much sports and other orthopedic.
3. I haven't exactly kept up to date on my manual skills and the knowledge of this population so I'm rusty and out of practice so it is fear in my heart that I won't be able to help people.
4. Kinda taking over much of the duties of a private practice, I have a secretary about 5-6 hours a day and a massage therapist on duty at times, but most of the time it is just me.
5. General wonderings of why they are getting out...and some parts of the clinic being a bit outdated and run down....


But I really love the challenge, and I have a sense of fear come over me on this and realize that merely means I should absolutely do it. I know the logic is a bit backwards, but attack what it is you fear and you will be better for it.

So I'm kinda proud to be doing it.

Then again, I don't have many other alternatives and believe me retreating and leaving the place was a big pull, most of my body and head I felt wanted to not stay and take the job....It's weird, I'm trusting my gut, but it is not the majority part of the gut if you can figure that analogy out.

I will be slowly introduced to her patients over the next few weeks and be orientated to how they run things...and how she likes to approach her pt's.

I have spent some time this week, doing one or two patients a day and getting familiar with the little clinic, met some doctors that refer patients.
