Don't have a job.

Alright actually I have a job, but the facility to which I was hopelessly devoted to (sound like a grease song, where the hell is Olivia Newton John... i think she was reincarnated in the form of Kylie Minogue or that she found some sort of fountain of youth and his still alive inside the body formerly known as Olivia Newton John and now of Minogue with the help of the elixir of the gods and some dam fine modern plastic surgery.)

anyways back to the lack of job. So I go and do orientation and I'm figuring It starts ya know, got my 45 minute walk to the bus stop, yes 45 minutes, but that is what I wanted, my feet disagree-those fargin bastages- well I get this routine down, which forgive the pun but took some serious leg work to figure out....and I get there and they are like no your just a per diem worker (we'll call you when we need you.)

But, wait, what the?

So I'm like you understand your supervisor informed me that at least in the interim aprox 1 month I will be busy. Oh that's not my understanding. A call later in the afternoon is from one of the higher ups. So sorry, hope this doesn't inconvience you this "misunderstanding" yeah I say, I kinda been chillin all week "understanding" that I had a gig for some full time work. Oh no what a misfortunate "misunderstanding" yes misunderstanding.....

Word of the day.......UNDERSTANDING.

So I'm back to square one..."oh but David I'll have you know everyone is thrilled your on board and they like you very much, you have made an instant impression on the staff and they will most certainly call you first as of my understanding."

If the IPHONE was less valuable it may have gone flying...(lost art the smashing or throwing of the phone reciever since the advent of cellular technology....Phone receiver smasher man you will be missed.....a moment for him please.)

Oh but for the great news.

20 Something, yes I said 20 Something everyones favorite underdog independent film has been programmed for another festivel...actually it is an ongoing film showcase of independent film in NYC....some how related to Anthology Films and the Angelika Film Center...called NEWFILMAKERS....

anyways we have been scheduled for (10 pm) on Wednesday April 16th....

Supposedly the film program and this showcase reaches 10 million people, but I'm not sure what that exactly means....

for us it means promote, so tell your friends families enemies small subhuman creatures, mailmens, mailwomens, bums, hot 23-32 year old females who dig exceptionally gifted artistes.

So I got this company Destination Healthcare, that came to the rescue and is like we have this unique opportunity on Oahu, so it is in the works...

this new job a new Outpatient Orthopedic place is wanting me to commit to 6 months though so, I'm not sure if I want to go for it.

But the bottom line is that if something doesn't turn up soon, I might have to drop back 10 yards and punt, in the form of an early return home to good ol mass.

If all is right I start potentially of Feb 11 if not, I gots to be out....cut my losses.

If faced with that I'm comfortable. I have lived it up a bit, and explored some amazing places, and most importantly figured out my way around this place and established a good base to do it again.

Still it is sad though, because I have just returned from the beach and a nice swim...even though the waters were infested by jellyfish....I covered myself with peanut butter do not worry....(alright that was weak)

I'm having a cup of 100% Kona coffee which the 12oz bag costs like 17 bucks....Paradise cost money my friends...be no misunderstandings about that.
