Actually I don't feel that bad, it's not like the Red Sox losing those world series or in 2003, but it hurts. Then Again I just flew to the beach in my scooter, managing to avoid the monsoon. And swam my heartache a way a bit.
It is hard, because I do have a slight not totally admitted allegiance to the NY giants. They have been kinda my NFC team since I lived in NY for a while and I just plain hate the jets so no hatred is left for that NY football franchise duh?, and I have felt like they have had some tremendous talent over the years and deserved better, the year they lost the improbable playoff game to the SF 49ers..... I mean that was of red sox proportions (prior to 2004 of course)
So the Kerry Collins teams were a bit impressive at times... and I honestly felt bad for Eli Manning... now of course he can eat a fucking dick....but I'm still kinda proud of this NY Giant team, kinda reminds me of the good ol Patriots team in 2001 against the rams and the greatest show on turf....which all the over hype of the Super Bowl festivities made me feel awkward and nervous about the Patriots being ripe for the picking.
Simply put though. The Giants pose matchup problems and have play makers on both sides of the both. I knew in the regular season it was going to be a tough game and I knew it was going to be today, of course I wouldn't not have been shocked by any outcome, except maybe a 17-14 final :( I still can't believe Eli avoiding the rush and threw a lob to that guy who caught the ball like it was the Holy Grail made of glass.... I mean seriously.
So to all you NY fans FU....just kidding, congratulations You'll get more out of this win they I would because the win was already in the books and just like a spoiled Yankee fan It is not as big as the first or the second or the third.......
but I wonder why Elis Hobbs was left alone on an Island to cover Burress in the end? I wonder why Assante couldn't hold onto the ball...and I wonder why the pats played a conservtive play calling of three runs and out after the ellis hobbs interception.
Alright I gotta go vomit.
